I see you’re probably interested in uncensoring your elin! The Elins of TERA were censored long ago, just before release. The censorship currently only applies to armor that was present on release. Costumes are unaffected.
The censorship replaces panties with shorts, and closed all open robes by putting on a shirt underneath. The censorship job is poor, the censored parts have bad texture resolution, clipping issues, and don’t react properly to dyes. I recommend uncensoring just to improve visual quality if nothing else.
This handy guide will tell you how to safely uncensor your elins. Keep in mind, most guides you find online will have you replace the files. DO NOT DO THIS. It works but it makes the launcher throw a tantrum when major updates come around.

On a much more serious note, also keep in mind that this is against the TOS for TERA, meaning you can technically be banned for this. Proceed at your own risk. However, I have never seen someone get banned for this, details in the FAQ at the bottom.

STEP ONE: FINDING THE TERA FOLDER
Skip this if you already know where it’s located
If you downloaded TERA through steam, it’s in C:Program Files(x86)SteamSteamAppscommonTERA
Otherwise, the TERA folder is usually either in C:Program Files(x86)TERA or in C:ProgramDataHappyCloudCacheTERA.
Keep in mind that ProgramData is a hidden folder, and you will need to show hidden files and folders to access it. It’s in Folder options. Go to Control Panel>Appearance and Personalization>Folder Options, then it’s under the view tab
If your TERA folder is in neither of these locations for some strange reason, with the launcher open, ctrl+shift+esc. go to the processes tab of the task manager, find TERA-Launcher.exe. Right click it and click properties. The General tab tells you where it’s located, go there. That’s exactly the folder you’re looking for
STEP TWO: DOING THE THING
Make sure Tera is closed before continuing.
Open the .rar file you downloaded. Open the “De-Censor Elin v2.0″ folder inside it, and drag the client folder into the same folder you found in the last step. Answer yes to any questions windows asks you about replacing files.

That’s it, start TERA back up, you should notice that most of the shorts are now panties. Keep in mind that Costumes were not censored, neither were any armors that were made after the release of NATERA.
Most of the leather armor was already super duper tame, and therefore you won’t see much of a difference.
If you’re a leather elin(warrior, slayer, archer, reaper) or metal elin(lancer,berserker), take off all your armor, the default armor will be different if it worked(you’ll see panties instead of shorts). If you’re a cloth elin(the rest of em), the difference should be clear across all armors.
Now that you’ve set it up, go out and spread the word! Seek out those who are uneducated and teach them of the censorship and the uncensor mod. We’re counting on you :3

Won’t I get banned for this?
Short answer: No.
Long answer: I’ve personally helped so many people with this I lost count near 100. At the time of writing, as far as I know, not one of them has been banned. EME isn’t stupid enough to throw customers out over aesthetic mods. Technically, yes, you can get banned. This is a violation of the Terms of Service and therefore an actionable offense. However, I have never once heard of anyone getting banned for this or anything of the sort. Hell, I’ve seen a nude modder shit talk another nude modder’s nude mod on global chat without getting banned before, so I’d say you’re probably in the clear. That does not mean there is no chance at all of you being banned. Only you are responsible if your following this guide incurs a ban.
Won’t everyone know I’m using this?/can other people see me like this?
No and No. you will see these changes apply to all elins you see on your client. Nobody else will see you uncensored unless they also have the mod. There is no way for other players to identify that you are using the mod. Basically, you’re fine.
So in KTERA there’s basically nude elins running around everywhere? Because I see the costumes and this is the censored western version right?
No. This is a common misconception that I addressed briefly at the beginning of this and am addressing in detail here. The costumes that have been released are all uncensored. The costumes that are out also tend to be “lewd”er than the original armors were. There’s been only a few cases of EME meddling in imported costumes. There’s a version of the steampunk outfits that does not have the stupid metal arm in KTERA that, for reasons unknown, never saw release here. Not censorship, but laziness. The leotards were originally more Playboy styled. EME had them altered to avoid legal troubles. Kinda censorship, but not really in the same style of censorship. The Alice dresses in KTERA had a glitch that would cause the skirt to randomly flip up. EME decided to take it out of the wonderland-themed costume pack release for NATERA because of the bug, making it the only case thus far of puritanical censorship of elin costumes.

1) start the launcher and let it create the patch files
2) go to your TERA directory and look for a folder that looks like this: pgc_v2_-1to11
3) take this link as a base and replace the occurrences with the files you need:

What you gain from all this link creating is the possibility to download those archives with a download manager of your choice, potentially getting higher download speeds. The server seems to allow up to 6 concurrent connections. So, give it a try if you think the launcher is too slow. After downloading all the files, replace the files in your patch folder and start the launcher. It should begin checking the files and applying the patch.edit: removed the links because they were apparently causing confusion.
